Go deeper.
Release what you hold.Sports massage.
Slow, deliberate pressure that works through the layers, guided by a kinesiology assessment so we release the cause of the tension, not only the surface of it.

Pressure builds step by step. Never rushed, never forced.
Signs your body is
asking for more.
When light pressure only helps for a day, the tension usually sits deeper. That is where we work.
Desk-posture tension
Hours at a screen load the neck, shoulders and upper back until they feel permanently tight.
Knots that keep coming back
Dense spots that return a few days after a regular massage usually need slower, deeper work.
Limited range of motion
Turning your head, reaching overhead or bending feels restricted and effortful.
Tight after training
Heavy training leaves deep muscle and fascia that surface-level work does not reach.
Stiffness that has been there for ages
Long-standing tightness often reflects a pattern in how you move, not just a sore muscle.
Stress you carry in your body
Tension held in the shoulders, jaw and lower back responds well to patient, controlled pressure.
Assess. Layer.
Restore.
Healing starts by identifying the true source, not just treating symptoms. That is what makes deep work last.
Assess
A 15-20 minute Applied Functional Kinesiology assessment looks at posture, gait, joint mechanics and movement patterns, so we know which areas truly need deep work.
Work in layers
Slow, controlled pressure builds gradually from the surface to deeper tissue, using hands, forearms and elbows where appropriate. We stay with the areas that need it.
Restore movement
We finish with movement and posture guidance so the release carries into your day, not just off the table.
What most people
get wrong.
“Deep tissue has to hurt to work.”
Effective pressure is firm, not painful. We build depth gradually and adjust to your feedback, because a body that tenses up resists the work.
“No pain, no gain.”
Intensity is not the goal. Skilled, well-placed pressure usually does more than heavy pressure, and it is easier to recover from.
“It is only for athletes.”
Anyone with persistent tightness can benefit, from desk workers and drivers to parents and people on their feet all day.
“You will be sore for days afterwards.”
Some people feel mild tenderness for a day or two, like after a workout. We guide you on after-care and tune the pressure to keep it comfortable.

Tell us how it feels.
We check in throughout the session. Three simple signals keep the pressure exactly where it works best for you.
Good pressure
Firm, slightly intense, and you can breathe easily. Tell us to stay right there.
Ease off a little
You are starting to tense or hold your breath. We reduce the pressure and approach more slowly.
Too much
Say it and we back off or change technique immediately. Your comfort always comes first.

General information, not medical advice. Our services are wellness services and are not a substitute for medical care.
Good to know.
Is deep tissue massage painful?
It should feel firm and intense in a good way, never sharp or unbearable. We build pressure gradually and adjust to your feedback, and you can ask us to ease off at any moment.
How is it different from a relaxation massage?
Relaxation massage uses lighter, flowing strokes to help you unwind. Deep tissue uses slower, firmer, more focused work to reach deeper muscle and fascia and release long-held tension.
How deep will you go?
As deep as is effective and comfortable for you on the day. Depth is built in stages, and it varies by area and by how your tissue responds.
Will I be sore afterwards?
Some people feel mild tenderness for a day or two, similar to after a workout. We give you after-care guidance, and you should tell us if it is more than that.
How often should I come?
It depends on your goals and how long the tension has been there. After your first assessment we will recommend a schedule that fits.
Do I need to be an athlete?
No. Deep tissue suits anyone with persistent tightness, from desk workers to people on their feet all day. If you are an athlete, see our Sport Massage page too.
Who should avoid deep tissue massage?
If you have blood clots or take blood thinners, had recent surgery or an acute injury, have a fever or infection, or have osteoporosis, please tell us first. We may need your doctor to approve, or we may adapt the session.
Is this medical treatment?
No. Our services are wellness services and are not a substitute for medical care. If you have an injury or a medical condition, please consult your doctor first.
