Warm stones.
Slow exhale.Sports massage.
Hot stone massage pairs smooth, warmed basalt stones with flowing massage strokes. You choose the heat, we do the rest, and a short kinesiology check-in tells us where to begin.

Warm, never hotter than you like.
Massage you can
melt into.
Warmth is one of the oldest ways to feel at ease. Hot stone massage brings it into a full session, at a level you control.
Smooth basalt stones
Flat, polished volcanic stones that hold warmth well. They are warmed ahead of time and checked before they ever touch you.
Warmth plus flowing strokes
Some stones rest on the body while others glide with oil over tight areas, so you get warmth and massage together.
You set the heat
Pick a level from 1 to 5 and change it whenever you like. It should always feel good, never sharp.
Dial in your
warmth.
Slide to see what each heat level feels like. You pick on the day, and you can change it at any point in the session.
Like a warm mug
The stones are only gently warm, like a mug you hold in both hands. A good start if you run warm, are new to heat, or feel unsure.
A soft blanket of warmth
A soft, easy warmth you notice but never think about. Enough to settle in without feeling hot.
A comfortable middle ground
A full, steady warmth that spreads as the stones rest and glide. We still ask how it feels, often.
For people who love heat
A fuller warmth for people who really enjoy it. It stays comfortable, never sharp, and we check in more often.
Warm, with a cool finish
Warm stones for most of the hour, then a few cool ones near the end for the neck, face or feet. The change feels fresh and wakes you gently.
Heat should always feel good. If it does not, tell us and we will adjust or remove the stone straight away.
Book a warm hourTalk heat. Warm.
Glide. Rest.
Healing starts by identifying the true source, not just treating symptoms. Here is how your warm hour unfolds.
Talk heat
A short chat about how you feel, what you would like from the hour and how you usually do with heat. A quick kinesiology look at posture and movement shows where you hold the most tension.
Warm and test
The stones are warmed ahead of time and checked before they touch you. You choose your heat level, 1 to 5, and can change it at any time.
Place and glide
Stones rest along the back and in the palms while others glide with flowing strokes over tight areas. We check in often, and you only ever need to say the word.
Rest and return
A quiet minute under the warmth, then we bring you back slowly with water and a few simple after-care tips.
Placed. Gliding.
Cool to finish.
Placed stones
Stones rest along the back and in the palms. Their weight and warmth settle in while you breathe and let go.
Gliding stones
Warm stones become massage tools. We glide them with oil in long, flowing strokes over the back, legs and shoulders.
A cool finish
Optional cool stones near the end, for the neck, face or feet. A fresh finish to a warm hour. Just ask.
Warm, heavy
and unhurried.
People describe the experience in many ways. Here are some of the most common.
Spreading warmth
Many people notice warmth spreading outward from where the stones rest.
Heavy, sleepy calm
The body often feels heavy and the mind slow. Dozing off is welcome.
Easier breathing
Breathing often slows and deepens on its own as you settle.
Softer-feeling muscles
Some people feel their muscles are softer and looser after a warm hour.
A warm glow
Skin can look a little pink and feel warm for a while. It fades on its own.
Simply cozy
Some people just feel cozy and cared for. That is a good result in itself.
Experiences vary from person to person and from session to session, and none of them are guaranteed.
For anyone who
loves a little heat.
Chilly days
It is cold outside, or you just cannot get warm. A warm hour sounds perfect.
Tight shoulders and back
Long hours at a desk or phone leave you feeling stiff, and you like heat on it.
Stressful weeks
You carry a lot, and you want a slow hour where someone else does the work.
Active bodies
You train or move a lot and want a warm wind-down between harder sessions.
Warmth lovers
You enjoy saunas, baths and heated blankets, and want that feeling as a massage.
A real pause
You want to switch off for an hour and let the warmth do the slowing down.

After your session.
A few simple habits help you carry the warmth into your evening.
Drink water
Warmth and massage can leave you thirsty. Drink water as usual through the rest of the day.
Rise slowly
Sit up gently and take a moment before standing. Some people feel light, sleepy or a little floaty afterwards.
Go easy on extra heat
Skip the sauna, hot tub or very hot bath for the rest of the day. You have had plenty of warmth already.
Notice your skin
A warm pink glow is normal and fades. If your skin feels sore or looks blistered, tell us or your doctor.
Tell us how you feel
If you feel unwell, dizzy or worried afterwards, get in touch with us, or with your doctor.
Good to tell us
before you book.
Please tell us if:
Heat may need adapting, or we may need your doctor to approve it first.
- You are pregnant, so we can adapt positioning and heat
- Diabetes, or any numb or reduced feeling in your skin
- A heart condition, or blood pressure concerns
- You are sensitive to heat, or overheat easily
- A skin condition, sunburn, or a healing cut or bruise
- Varicose veins or circulation concerns
- Blood thinners, or medicines that affect heat tolerance
- Recent surgery, a metal implant or a pacemaker
See a doctor first if you have:
These can need medical attention before, or instead of, a heat-based session.
- A fever, or you feel unwell
- A swollen, painful, warm or red calf or leg
- An open wound, burn or infected skin in the area
- Chest pain or shortness of breath
- Sudden numbness, weakness or confusion
General information, not medical advice. Hot stone massage is a relaxation service, and we do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Meridian-based activation draws on traditional concepts. Our services are not a substitute for medical care.
Good to know.
What is hot stone massage?
A relaxing massage in which smooth, warmed stones are placed on the body or used by the therapist during flowing strokes. The warmth helps you settle into the session. We offer it as a wellness service.
Will the stones be too hot?
They should feel comfortably warm, never sharp or burning. You choose your level on a simple 1 to 5 scale and can ask for warmer, cooler or a stone removed at any moment. We check in often and always adjust.
How much pressure does it use?
Usually light to medium, similar to a Swedish session. If you would like firmer work, ask about our Deep Tissue session.
Will I be undressed?
As with other massage, you undress to your comfort level and are covered with a sheet or towel, with only the area being worked on uncovered. Tell us what you prefer.
Is there scientific evidence for it?
Warmth is a familiar way to feel relaxed, and many people enjoy it. Research on hot stone massage in particular is limited, so we do not claim it treats any condition. We offer it as a relaxing wellness session.
Who should check with a doctor first?
If you are pregnant, or have diabetes or reduced feeling in your skin, a heart condition or blood pressure concerns, a skin condition, or are sensitive to heat, please talk to your doctor and tell us before booking. We may adapt the session or suggest something else.
Can I add kinesiology or a recovery add-on?
Yes. Our 90-minute session starts with a kinesiology movement assessment. Add-ons such as Red Light Therapy or BEMER can also be added. Ask us when you book.
Is this medical treatment?
No. Our services are wellness services and are not a substitute for medical care. If you have an injury or a medical condition, please consult your doctor first.
Ready to
melt?
Book your session and give yourself one warm, unhurried hour.
