Cranial Sacral · Gentle touch · Deep rest

Quiet hands.
Deep rest.Sports massage.

Cranial sacral massage is a very light, hands-on session focused on the head, spine and sacrum. It is slow, quiet and deeply restful, and a short kinesiology check-in tells us where to begin.

  • 5 gSTARTING TOUCH
  • 45-75MIN SESSIONS
  • 1:1QUIET ROOM

Our starting touch is about the weight of a nickel.

What it is

The gentlest hour
we offer.

If massage has ever felt like too much, this is the opposite. The work is in the listening, not the pressing.

Extremely light touch

We begin with pressure of roughly five grams, about the weight of a nickel. It is far lighter than a typical massage, and it is most of what the session needs.

Head, spine and sacrum

Hands rest in places like the base of the skull, the ribcage and the sacrum, and stay in each hold while your body settles.

Quiet by design

There is very little movement and very little talking. Many people drift into a deep, drowsy calm, and falling asleep is welcome.

Light touch, full attention. You rest. We stay with you, and with your pace.

What it is

  • A gentle, relaxation-focused hands-on session
  • Done fully clothed, on a table, in a quiet room
  • Paced to you, with room to speak up at any time
  • Offered as a wellness service

What it is not

  • A medical treatment or a diagnosis
  • A replacement for medical care
  • A proven treatment for any condition
  • A guarantee of any particular result
Straight talk. Scientific research on craniosacral therapy is limited and the findings are mixed, and the idea of a measurable craniosacral rhythm is debated. That is why we offer it as a gentle, restful wellness service and make no treatment claims. Many people simply find it deeply calming.
Your session

Check in. Settle.
Listen. Close.

Healing starts by identifying the true source, not just treating symptoms. Here is how a quiet hour unfolds.

01

Check in

A short chat about how you feel, what you would like from the hour and anything we should know about your health. A quick kinesiology look at posture and movement shows where you hold the most tension.

02

Settle

You lie comfortably on the table, fully clothed, with support under your knees or head if you like. We rest our hands on your body and wait.

03

Listen

Light holds at places like the base of the skull, the sacrum and the diaphragm, each for a few minutes. There is no pushing or forcing, and you can speak up at any time.

04

Close

We bring you back gently, with water, a moment to sit up slowly and a few simple after-care tips.

Where our hands rest

Five quiet holds.

Tap a point to see where we place our hands and what people often notice. A simplified illustration.

Hold 1 of 5

Cradling the head

Hands rest lightly on the sides of the head or on the forehead. It is quiet and still, and often the part people find most calming.

Often feels likeA soft, steady warmth
Hold 2 of 5

Under the skull

Fingertips rest under the base of the skull, where the head meets the neck. Many people carry tension here from screens, driving and stress, so this hold gives it room to ease.

Often feels likeA heavy head and a softer neck
Hold 3 of 5

Resting at the ribs

A hand rests on the upper belly or just under the ribs, near the diaphragm, while we stay with your breathing. We never press, and we follow your pace.

Often feels likeSlower, easier breathing
Hold 4 of 5

Under the sacrum

One hand rests under the sacrum, the triangular bone at the base of the spine, while the other stays at the head or neck. This hold links the upper and lower body.

Often feels likeA quiet, grounded feeling
Hold 5 of 5

Holding the feet

Hands hold the feet or ankles to ground the session and finish gently. It is often where people start to feel the whole body settle.

What you may notice

Subtle, and
different for everyone.

People describe the experience in many ways. Here are some of the most common.

Warmth or heaviness

Some people feel warm, heavy or sink into the table, as if the body is being supported.

Slower breathing

Breathing often becomes slower and deeper on its own, without anyone asking it to.

Drowsiness or sleep

Dozing off is common, and welcome. We will wake you gently at the end.

A quiet mind

With very little input, the mind often slows down. Some people describe it as a pause.

Emotional softening

Some people feel tearful or lighter. Both are normal, and you never need to explain.

Very little at all

Some people notice almost nothing, and that is okay too. Everyone responds differently.

Experiences vary from person to person and from session to session, and none of them are guaranteed.

Who it may suit

When less pressure
is exactly the point.

Pressure-sensitive

You find regular massage too intense, or tense up when someone presses.

Feeling wound up

You carry a lot, and what you need most is quiet and someone else holding the space.

Screen-heavy days

Your head, neck and shoulders feel tight after long hours at a desk or phone.

Trouble winding down

You would like a calm hour that helps you slow down before rest.

Between harder sessions

You train or have bodywork often, and want a gentle option in between.

Curious about gentle work

You like the idea of a quiet, no-pressure approach and want to try it.

Questions

Good to know.

What is craniosacral therapy?

It is a very gentle, hands-on technique in which a therapist rests their hands lightly on the head, spine, sacrum and other areas, usually with the client fully clothed. We offer it as a wellness service for deep relaxation.

What does it feel like?

Most people describe it as quiet and subtle: a sense of warmth, heaviness or calm, and sometimes drowsiness. Some feel very little, and that is okay too. Responses vary and nothing is guaranteed.

Is there scientific evidence for it?

Research is limited and the findings are mixed, and the idea of a measurable craniosacral rhythm is debated. We do not claim that it treats any medical condition. We offer it as a gentle, restful session that many people enjoy.

Will I be undressed?

No. You stay fully clothed, so wear something comfortable. You lie on the table, with support under your knees or head if you like.

Can I fall asleep?

Yes. Many people doze off, and that is welcome. We will wake you gently at the end.

How is it different from massage?

Massage moves and presses the muscles. Craniosacral work is mostly stillness: light, sustained holds with very little movement. If you would like something firmer, see our Swedish or Deep Tissue sessions.

Who should check with a doctor first?

If you have had a recent head, neck or spinal injury, a history of bleeding in the brain or an aneurysm, a Chiari malformation or raised pressure in the head, or seizures, please talk to your doctor and tell us before booking. We may adapt the session or suggest something else.

Is this medical treatment?

No. Our services are wellness services and are not a substitute for medical care. If you have an injury or a medical condition, please consult your doctor first.

Ready to
exhale?

Book your session and give yourself one quiet, unhurried hour.
